Do MADIS datasets need to be unzipped for use with EDEX or does it already
do that automatically with the plugins?

This is my current pqact setup:

FSL2    ^FSL\.CompressedNetCDF\.MADIS\.maritime\.(.*)
    FILE    -overwrite -log -close -edex    /usr/local/ldm/etc/MADIS.sh
/awips2/data_store/manual/point/maritime/netcdf \1

FSL2    ^FSL\.CompressedNetCDF\.MADIS\.metar\.(.*)
    FILE    -overwrite -log -close -edex    /usr/local/ldm/etc/MADIS.sh
/awips2/data_store/manual/point/metar/netcdf \1

EDEX doesn't appear to be ingesting the data, so I wanted to inquire with
others.
