Thanks for the help!  I changed my gdplot2 to reflect what you sent my
way... and am still having issues.  Now it wont even read the input grid
when i have gvcord=none and glev=0.

Is there something I'm just missing?  Is there some reason I cannot just
have the gvcord & glev you offered?
