OK, so the issue with the 40-km grid was resolved by simply increasing the
number of grids in the GEMPAK file.

The issue with the 12-km grid persists though, and appears to be related to the
fact that the hourly NAM files are not coming through on CONDUIT past 36 hours,
yet GEMPAK is looking for them when it tries to plot the longer-duration
precipitation accumulations. (Example below…it can’t find the file at 44
hours, because it doesn’t exist.) Is there a way to either have the hourly
files (beyond 36 hrs) pushed out, or to let GEMPAK know to only look for the
3-hourly files?
