Likely caused by this issue https://github.com/Unidata/gempak/issues/16 The
solution requires a re-build and release of GEMPAK because gbftim.c
unbelievably uses hard-coded center and process IDs.

A workaround is to use the CONDUIT nam212 feed rather than the HDS nam212
feed:

CONDUIT ^data/nccf/com/nam/.*awip3d.*
