-Y Enables trusted X11 forwarding

The reason I'm running IDV remotely is because all of our operational
machines are HP's. We only have 1 Linux box and it's non-operational,
meaning it's in a room on a different floor from where our operations is
located. In the near future all of our HP's will be converted to Linux
and then I won't have to worry about remotely logging in and hopefully I
won't get these error messages any more.

Hi Brian and Mike....Please pardon my ignorance, but what is the purpose
of the -Y option? I've never used it, and the man page on the machine I
can use doesn't list it.

Also, would you please give us a brief "use-case" describing what you're
trying to do or why you want to run the IDV remotely? As we define the
development path for IDV, it's important to understand how people are
using it....

Thanks!
