Winrar can compressed file more than winzip.
For example the file I sent you :
actual size is 170 MB
After compressing using winzip the size is 112 MB
After compressing using WINRAR the size is 74.8 MB
So huge difference : here 37.2 MB.
If the file size is big, the difference will be more.
www.Yousendit.com allows 100MB free upload. So I can't send file after
compressing it with winzip : size 112 MB > 100 MB while using winrar it is
only 74.8 MB.
Thats the main reason.
Besides small-sized file will take less time to upload though that's not the
problem here.
