Hi Steve,

Thanks for finding the bug. Basically, we were making fragile assumptions
about non-mandatory levels that resulted in problems. We believe we have
resolved this issue and you can try the nightly IDV tomorrow:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/nightly/index.jsp

Moreover, we made some of the code in this area more robust in case there
are more problems like this.
