Hi Matt,

I am unsure what you mean by 'corrected'. The sequence number is intrinsic functionality of LDM that used is by other parts of LDM. Removing it would likely break other things, like MD5 computation, etc. What problem is it causing you?

Sorry for sort-of spamming the list, but I'm answering my own questions
this morning. I see now that the sequence number is set on insert at the
originating end. I will work to get that corrected.

I think I found the issue. The problem we are having is with GOES-16
data. We're receiving the data from a GRB feed, not SBN. When I switched
our feed to the SBN, we started getting sequence numbers.

Now my questions are: Where do the sequence numbers come from? Are they
something unique to data inserted by noaaportIngester?

I'm having a problem where the (seq) entry in some FILE actions is

this is not meant to sound flippant, but your regex is matching a 0 in
the stream?

for example, on GOES-16 data I file by sector/band/yyyymmetc... and the
bands run from 01-16, so one of the file actions will be 0 for the band

have you matched to the notifyme? you can always throw around
some (..)(..)(..) and ([0-9][0-9]) to match to your needs..

Steve Emmerson is way better than me at them, but i've found playing
with the stream to match my needs a fun thing to do, even though I'm often
fumbling around in the dark :)

cheers,
