Partial port of UDUNITS to MS-DOS

Folks,

I just completed a partial port of Unidata's Units package (UDUNITS) to
MS-DOS using Microsoft C/C++ v7 compiler. I was able to compile the code
under an older version of TURBO C/C++ for Windows buit I couldn't get it to
run. If you are interested, please take a look at:

  ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/contrib/ut_msdos.zip
or
  ftp://dao.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/papers/dasilva/etc/ut_msdos.zip

Inside this ZIP file you will find pre-compiled binaries of the C Library
udunits(3), the utility conversion udunits(1), along with the units database
UDUNITS.DAT and ASCII versions of the original Unix manual pages. There is
also a directory with the full source code and makefile. As a bonus, I
included versions of GNUish bison and flex packages known to work for this
package (Note: you need at least Flex v 2.4).

I have *not* attempted to port the Fortran or Perl interfaces.

I'd like to thank Steve Emmerson for many helpful suggestions.

Let me know if you have questions.

     Arlindo.
