Hello netcdfgroup,
I'm using NCEP/NCAR reanalysis-2 data from CDC which are in netcdf format. To
initialize a numerical model (ARPS) with these data I need them in grib format.
I've downloaded 'grads' and 'lats4d' and it works fine with the example data.
But when I try to convert the NCEP/NCAR data I get the following error message:

What did I wrong and what do I have to do?
