[netcdfgroup] where to find the documentation for the netCDF C/Fortran/C++ libraries/utilities

Howdy all!

Some recent confusion has caused me to move some old versions of the
netCDF C/Fortran/C++ library documentation. Any links to these old
documents should be updated.

The current set of documents can always be found from the netCDF home
page, and on the documentation page:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/

Older versions of the documentation can be found here:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/old_docs/

The documentation for your version of netCDF was also included in the
netCDF distribution, and will be installed on your own machine if you
use the --enable-docs-install option with configure.

Constructing the documentation is part of the daily build process, and
a daily snapshot of the documentation is available. Note that this
documents features that may only be available in the snapshot, until
the next formal release. Snapshot documentation can be found here:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs_snapshot/

For recent versions of netCDF, the version of the documentation is
mentioned in the first sentence, for example (from the Users Guide):

This guide describes the netCDF object model. This document applies
to netCDF version 4.1-beta1-snapshot2009042911, and was last updated
  on 7 April 2009.

If anyone has any questions about netCDF documentation, please send
them to support-netcdf@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Thanks!

Ed
