Thanks. That may be so (the use of auotconf and automake), but since this is
where the main link now takes you and it is not consistent with the install
instructions, it can leave people bewildered.
I imagine it will get straightened out, in the meantime if he goes to the links
I sent there are files that will work per the instructions.
