... USERS NOTIFIED AND SERVICES CONFIRMED ... THE MAJOR CRITERIA
FOR DECOMMISSIONING THE WSR-74C AT ABILENE ... TEXAS /RADAR
IDENTIFIER - ABI/ HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.  THEREFORE ... THE ABILENE
WSR-74C RADAR WILL BE DECOMMISSIONED OFFICIALLY ON WEDNESDAY ...
APRIL 30 ... 1997.
 
DECOMMISSIONING MEANS THAT THIS RADAR IS NO LONGER ISSUING
PRODUCTS ... SUCH AS THE RADAR OBSERVATION /ROB/ MESSAGE ... IN
