[nws-changes] 20071026: MicroART upper air system-Davenport, Iowa

The NOAA National Weather Service MicroART upper air system at Davenport (Quad Ciites) Iowa, WA (WMO # 74455), will be decommissioned on or about October 26, 2007, and installation of the new Radiosonde Replacement System (RRS) will begin. No upper air observations will be provided from this office while RRS is being installed.
Beginning November 5, 2007, or shortly thereafter, upper air observations will be issued using the RRS and GPS Mark IIA Sippican radiosondes.
