[10965] ON THE ABOVE EFFECTIVE DATE THE FOLLOWING ENHANCEMENTS
TO THE WAVEWATCH III WILL BE ADDED TO THE AWIPS/NOAAPORT
DATASTREAM. THE ENHANCEMENTS TO WAVEWATCH III [WW3] WILL
SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVE CURRENT WAVE GUIDANCE BY PROVIDING
SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER RESOLUTION WAVE GUIDANCE AND BY INCLUDING
BASIC SHALLOW-WATER WAVE PHHSICS.

HENDRIK TOLMAN [301] 763-8000 EXTENSION 7253 IS THE COGNIZANT
TECHNICAL INDIVIDUAL. ANTHONY ROBINSON [301] 713-1373 EXTENSION
165 IS THE DRG FOCAL POINT FOR THIS ITEM.
