ISSUED: 1100Z/7:00 AM EDT FRI SEP 12 2008 CWD EXTENDED DUE TO IKE THREAT TO WESTERN GULF COAST AND SOUTHERN US...CWD will be extended until 0000Z/TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH (8pm Monday evening EDT).. Due to the potential impacts of tropical
system Ike on the US. This CWD will include NCEP...NWSTG...NCF and NWSSouthern Region. This CWD will be re-evaluated later on as Ike moves onshore and will be dropped if Ike no longer poses a threat.
