[nws-changes] 20090225: GOES 12 outage

*Details of the Outage:

*GOES-12 satellite experienced a Thruster 5b leak this morning which caused
the navigation to be affected and several image/products were
not available for transmission. The navigation situation has been corrected. However, SOCC engineers are working on the correcting the Thruster situation. 

*Data Affected by the Outage:

*The following images were not available for transmission:

1046Z SOUNDER, 1103Z SOUNDER, 1101Z CONUS,
1109 SHEMI, 1115Z NHEMI AND 1120Z
GULF OF MEXICO WINDS SOUNDING.

*Date and Time of the Outage:

*2/25/2009 0615 UTC

*Length of the Outage:

*2/25/2009 0615 UTC until 0915, 2009* **
