FYI -- MAX at UMD maintenance procedure on Wednesday July 29, 2009
could cause outage but is not anticipated.

*On WEDNESDAY, July 29, 2009 1900-2100 EDT, the NOC will be
performing UPS maintenance at MAX in Colledge Park, MD.

We do not anticipate any outages, but there could be an outages of 10
minutes throughout the maintenance window.*

We will contact the SDM prior to beginning any maintenance to receive an
updated weather status.

Affected areas include:

*MAX Internet-2 & AT&T Internet-1 connection - and all traffic.*
NCEP Camp Spring and NSOF Suitland primary connections.
IBM Gaithersburg main connection.
DNS3.
NWS LDMs.


The maintenance period will be from  19:00 to 21:00 EDT on WEDNESDAY,
July 29, 2009
