ADMNFD SENIOR DUTY METEOROLOGIST NWS ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE NWS NCEP CENTRAL OPERATIONS CAMP SPRINGS MD 1820Z SUN NOV 08 2009 A Critical Weather Day (CWD) period will be initiated at 1800z Sunday November 8th, 2009 and will expire at 0000z Thursday November 12th, 2009. NCEP, NWSTG, NWS Southern Region and the NCF will participate in this CWD to ensure a reliable flow of data. The CWD is in support of forecast operations concerning the tropical system IDA affecting portions of the gulf coastal region this week.
