In 2009, the NWS established an Internet servicethat allowed users of the National Digital Forecast Database (NDFD) to determine which files had been recently updated.There has been little interest expressed in this service since its implementation. Moreover, recent hardware failures have made it impossible for the NWS to offer this service reliably.
