Hi All,

  Just a heads-up to let you know PMB's SPA team will soon begin working
on the SREF upgrade.  The parallel SREF will not be started until the
30-day parallel Hybrid (GSI upgrade) is completed, and the Hybrid
parallel has not yet been started.  If there is anything special that
you need from PMB in order to view the output from the SREF (i.e GEMPAK
output), please let me know so that we can include this in our work.

  The SREF Charter lists HPC, SPC, and AWC as recommended evaluators,
with OPC and NHC optional.  The Charter also recommends all NWS Regions
(except Puerto Rico, which is optional) and WFO State College partipcipate.

  As always, let me know if you have further questions.  Science
questions re: the SREF upgrade should be sent to Jun Du (jun.du@xxxxxxxx).
