Re: 20020304: COMET Case Studies (fwd)



Hi David, 

Sounds good!

Keep in mind, alot of the data is GEMPAKcentric, some is native and will
pass over decoders prior to visualization, but the end results are .gem
files or AREA files for sat or NEXRAD nids data or GRIB for model output
(which we pipe over dcgrib to view in GEMPAK).


GEMPAK will run on a variety of UNIX platforms..but no windows.

Also GEMPAK needs to run in 8bit color mode.

The CD's should be ready by April..for most cases.
