Hi Tim,

As Chiz has explained in his previous emails and as we talked about before
I left for Europe, the only products from the NOAAPORT broadcast conveyed
in the IDD that you will need to anything to are the products from the
IDS|DDPLUS stream. All others are relayed unaltered.

  >Got your phone message. The NIMAGE data is just what is on NOAAPORT.
  >The zlib compression is what SBN uses to compress each block of the
  >image. It is not something that I am doing. If FSL can read the
  >compressed images from their feed, it should be the same as our feed.
  >
  >The GEMPAK code I write to read the zlib data follows the same
  >proceedure as is used to read the Nexrad level III data which
  >is compressed on NOAAPORT. The initial WMO header
  >is read, then each zlib block is uncompressed to recreate the original
  >message that SBN compressed.
