Hi Brendon,

>We haven't received radar data via the fnexrad feed from atm.geo.nsf.gov
>since July 27. Is everything ok on Unidata's end?

I just checked, and the FNEXRAD radar composites on atm.geo.nsf.gov are
current. I also see topo messages indicating that pscwx has connected
to atm requesting FNEXRAD and NNEXRAD data:

logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:18:12 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[27059]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:18:12 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[27070]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu FNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:23:52 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[21470]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:26:55 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[22227]: topo:

logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:27:52 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[22415]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:29:41 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[22606]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:32:38 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[23619]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 10:34:57 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[23814]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu FNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 13:14:02 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[12066]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu FNEXRAD
logs/ldmd.log:Jul 30 13:14:03 atm.geo.nsf.gov pscwx(feed)[12070]: topo:
pscwx.plymouth.edu NNEXRAD

Next, I see that pscwx has received FNEXRAD data from atm:

FNEXRAD reception on pscwx.plymouth.edu:
http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_vol_nc?FNEXRAD+pscwx.plymouth.edu

and the volume of data is the same as what is available on atm:

FNEXRAD reception on atm.geo.nsf.gov:
http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_vol_nc?FNEXRAD+atm.geo.nsf.gov

Finally, I checked to make sure that the FNEXRAD data filed on atm
was current, and it is. I would assume that there must be some sort of
processing problem on pscwx/typhoon.

>See you soon,

See you Sunday.

Cheers,

Tom
