Glad to see you are able to access one of our community sites (Iowa State), we 
are happy to provide the Air Force with access to our level III data.

Please find the NIDS products (level III data) at:

http://motherlode.ucar.edu/thredds/catalog/nexrad/level3/catalog.html

..not sure if Gibson Ridge can read directly from catalog, if so, use a .xml 
extension instead of .html. That may save you the issue of downloading and 
reloading into GR.

Let us know if you encounter any problems, you should have complete access to 
our archive.
