20010813: skip does not work with type=p in gdplot2

Robert,

SKIP works for me in 5.6.D.1. You still have to use the SKIP syntax
of "contour/plot_x;plot_y", so for type = p, for eta211 for example,
I get goo readable spacing with:

 TYPE     = p
 SKIP     = /3;1
 GDFILE   = eta
 GDATTIM  = f000
 GLEVEL   = 500
 GVCORD   = pres
 GDPFUN   = hght
 PROJ     = lcc
 GAREA    = uslcc
etc.

So, you are using the pplotx;ploty part of the SKIP syntax to skip
data points, vectors and barbs etc.
