20010822: 20010817: 20010817: 20010817: GEMPAK download

Mike,

I don't know any of the specifics of the Unisys data feed you have.

The decoders provided with GEMPAK expect that the products follow the FOS
format of product delimeters, eg:

^A \r \r \n
seq_no \r \r \n
WMO_product_id
etc.
\r \r \n
^C

The control characters in the FOS feed are the SOH (ctrl-A) and ETX (ctrl-C).
The \r is carriage return and \n is newline.

If you have questions regarding the format of NOAAPORT products from
Unisys, you should contact them.

If you want to obtain the NOAAPORT feed using our LDM and IDD, we can
provide that to you.
