20010918: 20010917: YAXIS label on gdcross

Daryl,

It would sound like the last drawing commands are not getting flushed out.

Can you verify whether the same behavior exists when you are running
gdcross (instead of gdcross_gf) with gpend following. And,
what OS you are running on.

I'm assuming this is the global thinned grid AVN data set you are running on?
