20011128: gempak installation

raghav,

Strange. Go back and check the "xdpyinfo" just in case
someone reset the display resolution on you.

If you are running Sun's answer book or file manager,
try closing them.

Check to make sure you don't have any stray "xw" processes
hanging around. If you do, run "$NAWIPS/bin/scripts/cleanup -c"

Also check to make sure your DISPLAY environmental variable is correct.
