20020417: GDVINT in 5.6 with Solaris 8



Patrick and Kevin,

The error -101 in forking occurs when you do not have enough
resources available to run the gplt program. Gdvint has some very
large arrays in use (necessary to interpolate in layers),
and will use significant amounts of stack and memory.

Check your account limits. Eg, issue the "limit" command.

If your system has less than "unlimited" imposed, try increasing the
limits up to your hard limits.
