garp

Hi,
i've been using Garp with no problem, until one day it simply wouldn't
start...it hangs when invoked from ntl.
if I try to run it from the command line, it will say that it can't create
the garp default fontstruct (im using garp2 (small)) that is first in the
garp2 file and then it gives a segmentation fault and exits.
Any ideas?
The seg fault is not shown when invoked from ntl.
