20020612: Gempak Colors

Steven,

RH 7.3 includes a new (broken) version of Xfree86. You will need to
patch your Xfree86 packages.

Your problem is probably addressed in the GEMBUD archives in:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/glimpse/gembud-list/1666
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/glimpse/gembud-list/1662
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/glimpse/gembud-list/1661

Or you can go to:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/gempak/help_and_documentation/ghgembud.html
And pull up the thread by searching for "xfree86".
