20030613: Printing GEMPAK PS output

Eric,

If your HP printer has PS compatibility installed,
you will probably get a summary of the compatibility
in your printer test page. Some HP printers will also show
this information in their LCD screen (usually identifies
"PS Ready" as opposed to "PCL ready"). You often have to configure the
printer settings to tell it to expect PS, since that often isn't the default.
Does the printer auto-detect the file type?

Have you sucessfully sent other PS files (such as ps output from a brwoser)
from your BSD box to the printer?
