Michael,

You are using a version of GEMPAK that is several years old.
The IJSKIP was added in 5.6.K to allow handling of grids
(like the NDFD that were bigger than the maximum size for
calculations, eg subsetting and subsampling).

The current version I have released is 5.6.M, and will be releasing
5.7.1 in the next month or so.

You can get information about GEMPAK and downloads from our web site
