20040504: SNPROF

Jimmy.

Have you ensured that you are using the gplt and device drivers from
the new distribution? For example, if you hadn't run gpend, and the program
reconnected to a running gplt process that was an old version, it could
be a problem.

Or, if you hadn't sourced the new Gemenviron locations into your environment
before building, you might have lined against old libraries.

I'm assuming you modified the LLMXLV entries in $GEMPAK/include before compiling
the libraries (eg a fresh build). Otherwsie, make sure you have removed the
$GEMLIB/* files before building ("make distclean" would do that as well).

Since the snprof.f code hasn't changed recently, it doesn't sound llike
anything new in the release would be broken.
If the above suggestions don't help, send me a list
of the changes you made.

I can plot dropsonde data here using the 500 LLMXLV value.
