20040924: FW: new GEMPAK

Patrick,

The pqact.gempak_decoders that gen_pqact.csh will create
is setup already with the gribkey.tbl files to
match the $GEMTBL/config/datatype.tbl entries.

You can either combine all the GEMPAK templates to a single
pqact.conf file, or separate files. If you use separate files,
then you use a separate pqact entry in ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf for
each (eg nwx/text products, decoders, images, etc).

Assuming you have copied or linked the dcgrib2 binary from 5.7.2p2
to ~ldm/decoders/dcgrib2, then the decoders/dcgrib2 action
will use your $GEMTBL/grid directory to file products
under the ~ldm/data/gempak/model directory (as is
configured with the $GEMTBL/grid/gribkey.tbl file).
For example, the eta211 will be in data/gempak/model/YYYYMMDDHH_eta211.gem.
In the $NAWIPS/Gemenviron file, $MODEL will be set to $GEMDATA/model,
and $GEMDATA you should define to your ~ldm/data/gempak location.

The $GEMTBL/config/datatype.tbl file has an entry for ETA to
look in $MODEL/YYYYMMDDHH_eta211.gem, so all the command line
programs and NMAP know where to find GDFILE=eta.
