20050301: 20050228: 20041103: NIDS alphanumeric graphic products



Ray,

NMAP does plot those products. The key being that
you can only select one "image" type at a time,
and it that is NCR, you can't overlay it with
an image of NHI for instance.

Yes, there is nothing special about the alphanumeric
graphics that requires them to be in an image 
projection. They could be plotted as a misc data type,
but that isn't set up for selecting individual stations at this
point.

So, at the moment, to overlay an image with storm tracks,
meso cyclones, etc, the easiest way is to turn the overlay
products into a VGF.
