20051114: 20051108: Gempak - GARP forecast soundings crash

Dave,

$GARPHOME is defined when you source your Gemenviron file, and
from your listing below should be:
/usr/local/GEMPAK5.8.3a/comet/garp

But,

Since I don't see "Makefile" in your top level directory, this
is not a source distribution you have.

I've posted the binary executable for linux on our web site at:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/gempak/nawips-5.8.4/binary/linux/garp
