Greg,

This means that gplt is failing to execute the "gf" driver,
for the same reason that you can't exec gdplot_gf below.

If it exists, which likely you know because the programs run 
interactively, then it means that you have to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environmental variable in your script. You can verify that all
shareable libraries are being resolved through the "ldd progname" command
and then make sure your script has the same directories in its LD_LIBRARY_PATH
