[GEMPAK #GBW-617002]: odd cross-section

Brian,

I took the file 081430240.gr2 and decoded it into a gempak grid file with

dcgrib2 cross.gem < 081430240.gr2

then in GDGROSS:

 CXSTNS   = 40.495;-107.522>42.065;-104.153
 GDATTIM  = LAST
 GVCORD   = PRES
 GFUNC    = tmpc
 GVECT    =
 GDFILE   = cross.gem
 WIND     =
 REFVEC   =
 PTYPE    = LOG
 YAXIS    =
 IJSKIP   =
 CINT     = 0
 SCALE    = 999
 LINE     = 3
 BORDER   = 1
 TITLE    = 1
 CLEAR    = YES
 DEVICE   = gif|test.gif
 TEXT     = 1
 PANEL    = 0
 CLRBAR   =
 CONTUR   = 0
 FINT     = 0
 FLINE    = 10-20
 CTYPE    = C

Attached is the plot. I don't see anything that could be called a wave.

This is using GEMPAK 6.2.0.
