Hi Clinton,

The new release GEMPAK 7.1.1 has fixed this map drawing error in gpnexr2.

How have you determined that gpnexr2 can only plot 3 tilt levels? From the
GEMPAK manual:

TILT is the Radar beam elevation/tilt angle. TILT is a real number
that specifies the mean sweep evelation that is closest to
the specified value. If TILT is LIST, then the available levels will
be displayed and the user will be prompted for a value.

Using TILT=list I see the following (for the latest from FTG):

Volume dz: Sweeps available 15
 1: elev 0.511856
 2: elev 0.518681
 3: elev 0.913925
 4: elev 0.914627
 5: elev 1.342075
 6: elev 1.353550
 7: elev 1.834625
 8: elev 0.520931
 9: elev 0.518829
10: elev 2.429428
11: elev 3.154656
12: elev 4.015533
13: elev 5.130753
14: elev 6.433868
15: elev 8.020187
Enter radar elevation angle or type EXIT:

So it seems only the closest real number input will display whichever tilt you
desire.

Hope this answers your questions.
