19990430: CONDUIT data feed

William,

We had discussed the CONDUIT model data. I assumed that was the data
set you wanted at mhpcc. The idd-connect address caused a little confusion
since that is the address we use for the NOAAport data sets.

I have enabled flip.unidata.ucar.edu to feed mahi.mhpcc.edu to start.
Hopefully we can identify a west cost site that is able to provide
a good route shortly.

In your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf file, you should create request entry:
request NMC2 ".*" flip.unidata.ucar.edu

if you want just the AVN grid #003 data set, then use the line:
request NMC2 "gblav" flip.unidata.ucar.edu
however, to ensure data is flowing at first, you might not want
to have to wait until the next AVN run.

You will want to adjust the product queue size for CONDUIT data
as well since the default size in ldmadmin is much smaller.

Edit the ~ldm/bin/ldmadmin file, and define the $pq_size line (~line 87)
the product queue size as 500Mb with:
$pq_size = 500000000;

After modifying your ldmd.conf file and the ldmadmin script, stop your
running ldm session with:

ldmadmin stop

Remake the ldm queue with:

ldmadmin delqueue

ldmadmin mkqueue

followed by a restart to load in the new ldm configuration:

ldmadmin start
