Hi Bob,

>Thanks for the heads-up.

No worries.

>I have switched FSL's request
>for CONDUIT data from atm to idd.unidata.ucar.edu,
>which appears to have been successful. Is there another
>system you'd prefer us to failover to?

No. Right at this second, idd.unidata.ucar.edu is a dual AMD Opteron
machine running Fedora Core 2 64-bit. By the end of the day today, it
should be a cluster of dual Opteron machines which are also running
Fedora Core 2 64-bit. The change will be transparent, so you do not
have to do any reconfiguration with the change (your feed(s) will
disconnect and then reconnect to the cluster manager with the switch,
but no data will be lost).

>If you don't mind, we would like to keep this in place
>until Monday morning, when we can switch back.

No worries. I included estimates of when folks could fail back
to reassure them that we are not expecting prolonged outages.
