[IDD #TLG-431741]: Obtain upstream data-feeds

Hi Mack,

Great, now that we know what feeds you desire we can dial you in to an upstream
host.

Just an FYI, there ~used to be a machine at gatech that was running the LDM, I
suspect it has gone away:

sml0.eas.gatech.edu
Jim St. John
stjohn|a_t-s_i_g_n|eas.gatech.edu
404-894-1754

...I will put you and your new machine as the new points of contact for GaTech.

Please point your data feed requests to:

idd.cise-nsf.gov

..for all but the NLDN. NLDN is delivered ONLY point-to-point and originates
out of SUNY-Albany. Currently the NLDN is down, we hope to bring it back
soon...technical issues and maybe some business issues.

We do offer the USPLN data, another lightning detection network.

To participate in the ingest of USPLN data please visit:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/data/lightning.html

...and scroll to the bottom where you will find a link to ERAU to register for
the USPLN feed, this feed is also point-to-point so you will need to get the
machine information for the request after you have registered.

We have the needed "allows" in place for you, so you should be good to go on
all feeds other than NLDN|USPLN.

Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties.
