We do not support these types of grids yet.  We have been waiting for
a standard to be agreed to on the structure to use.  If you are interested
in creating a standard, you could join the CF Conventions forum on this
topic:

The only software I know that might handle this is Visit from LLNL:

https://wci.llnl.gov/codes/visit/

but I'm not sure if it does.
