[IDV #IDM-493973]: IDV INSTALLATION AND RUNNING OF IDV

Hi Amar,

I am helping you here, but you need to get me to understand your problem first.

So far, you are dealing with two different issues: first PyException, and 
second the IDV crashing.

The IDV crashing is likely related to your computer system video card driver, 
it need to be updated.

The Python problem, I need to know which formula you were calling and what type 
of display you were
trying to create. Most important is what is your dataset, is it
local or from server, is it point or gridded? Can you provide a sample if it is 
a local file?
