Dang, I forgot to put my ldm-checker-upper script into cron on that
machine to restart it upon failure. I have restarted the ldm on the
machine, it should not fail you again except for a hard drive crash
now.

Got an interesting failure message in ldmd.log I've never seen before:

Jul 28 19:45:54 sleet motherlode[17502]: assertion "pIf(xdrs->x_op ==
XDR_ENCODE, (tvp->tv_sec >= TS_ZERO.t
v_sec && tvp->tv_usec >= TS_ZERO.tv_usec && tvp->tv_sec <= TS_ENDT.tv_sec
&& tvp->tv_usec <= TS_ENDT.tv_use
c))" failed: file "timestamp.c", line 51

I am running ldm 5.1.1 on a Linux 2.2.14 machine.
