Hmmm, maybe there are network problems.  Try 'traceroute
amelia.geol.iastate.edu' and show me what you get.  You should probably
try it a few times since results can vary.

In the meantime, have your restarted your ldm?  The results of your
'notifyme' show that you can indeed reach amelia and that they have
'allow'ed you to connect.  So, you should be able to get some data.  Try
restarting, and then try either the pqcat command I showed you
yesterday, or you can also try 'ldmadmin watch', which will show you
products as they arrive at your site.
