Mike,

>Two things...first, since we set up our new ldm server I wanted
>to let you guys know what the new name was so you could modify
>your records.

>Old: meaculpa.nrrc.ncsu.edu
>New: measol.meas.ncsu.edu

I just updated the site contact page:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/projects/idd/sitelist.html

with this new information.

>Second, everything seems great with the new system except that
>I can't get the nowrad feed from wsi to come in. I can't see any
>products flowing through the queue. I've tried a million combinations
>of entries in my ldmd.conf file and asked Charlie at WSI to look
>it over for me. He says it looks ok, but that something else may
>be interfering like a firewall. Below is our last correspondence:

Since we are unable to do an ldmping or notifyme to
measol.meas.ncsu.edu from machines here at Unidata, we are assuming
that your machine is behind a firewall of some kind. If this is the
case, it is possible that the firewall setup (router setup) is
selectively allowing machines to make contact on port 388, but the WSI
machine is not one of them. At this point, you should check with your
network folks to make sure that the WSI machine is allowed. This
will eliminate one potential problem, so that if the problem continues
we can look elsewhere.
