Re: 20020401: NEXRAD failover for TAMU

HI Neil,

We did not set up failover topology for NNEXRAD but had the top tier
sites place an

allow NNEXRAD *.edu

However, some have removed that line and hard coded their allows..sigh.

So please visit:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/projects/idd/nexradFeed.html

and try a:

notifyme -vl - -h "remote host" -f NNEXRAD

where "remote host" will be exchanged for one of the second level routing
sites.

If you get in and see prods, then you can request NNEXRAD from them.

I know this is a bit bulky, but for this feedtype we currently do not have
a failover script or schema...Please let me know if you cannot find a site
that will allow and if nothing else we can set up a temp feed here.

Thank you,

-Jeff
